35%

of students combine work with study while enrolled at their university.

The highest employment rate among students was for those pursuing Master’s degrees - 72%.

Students’ desire to be employed part-time during their studies is due to the fact that graduates have rather high ambitions and demand for jobs. However, before aspiring to a good job in their field, they must prove that they are qualified through practical experience.

These data are presented in a study by Olga Rakhmanova, a postgraduate student in the HSE Department for Spatial Development and Regional Studies.
