Statistical Learning Theory Olympiad Now Accepting Applications
Students who wish to compete in the Statistical Learning Theory Olympiad held jointly by HSE University and Skoltech may apply until March 16. Winners of the Olympiad automatically gain admittance to the joint HSE-Skoltech Master’s Programme in Statistical Learning Theory. HSE News Service spoke with last year’s winners about their experience competing in the Olympiad and now studying in the joint programme.
Digital Museum Project Production: First Commencement and First Media Projects
Transmedia projects are now a cornerstone of modern education and the digital sphere. They allow museum collections to come to life through animation, and complex physical phenomena to be visualized. Over the course of a year and a half, students of the master’s programme ‘Transmedia Production in Digital Industries’ studied under leading museum staff and professors of HSE's media department to gain the necessary skills and knowledge for this kind of production. In February, the programme’s first graduating class presented the creative fruits of their labour.
HSE Master’s Programme Prepares Students for Careers in Business and Policymaking in Asia
Set to launch in the fall of 2020, HSE’s new English-taught master’s programme ‘Economics, Politics, and Business in Asia’ is now accepting applications. Students of the programme will spend their first and fourth semesters at HSE University in Moscow and their second and third semesters at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. New HSE Master’s Programme Focuses on German-Speaking Countries
The Faculty of Humanities is now accepting applications to its new Master’s programme, ‘Germanica: History and Modernity’ for the fall of 2020.
