Admission to HSE University’s paid and online Master’s programmes continues. Representatives of the English-language programmes Applied Statistics with Network Analysis and Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development told us about how the training goes, how students practice, and what graduates get as a result. September 15 is the application deadline for HSE University’s English-taught online Master of Business Analytics programme. The programme trains a new kind of financial leader with an expanded range of competencies and skills. Modern challenges require professionals in this field to focus not only on money flows, but also on non-financial resources: intellectual, natural, social, and digital. Such resources set the tone of competition and determine the future of companies.

Are you interested in the history of Hollywood cinema or photography? Have you always wondered how advertising and media influence us? Perhaps you want to learn more about women’s contribution to world art. In September, the HSE Art and Design School is launching 72 courses in a variety of fields—including some quite unexpected ones—that will provide students with new systemic knowledge and immerse them in the theory of art and design. The courses start on September 4, but applications to join will remain open until September 10.

September 15 is the deadline to submit application documents for the Master’s in Applied Statistics with Network Analysis, Russia’s first English-language online programme in applied statistics. The HSE University programme trains specialists capable of working with data for strategising business processes and analysing the system of interactions between companies and people.

Registration is now open for the autumn 2023 international Study Tour Experience at HSE University. Applicants from outside Russia who are interested in applying to master’s programmes can spend two weeks as a student of HSE University’s campuses in Moscow, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, and St Petersburg.

The Master’s in Financial Economics at the International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF) provides students with a solid theoretical foundation in economics and finance while teaching hands-on skills under the guidance of experts from academia and industry. With the 2022/23 academic year now over, faculty reflect on the programme’s successes and future prospects.

The Bachelor’s in Information Science and Computation Technology (ISCT) at HSE MIEM trains experts in the study and design of advanced computing devices, systems, and networks. Graduates of the programme are sought-after specialists in the fields of software development, computer production and sales, computing department management and more. The programme attracts students from across Russia and further afield. The HSE News Service spoke to Artyom Katsnelson and Karen Kochinyan, two international students of the programme, about their studies, the pros and cons of online learning, and their advice for prospective students.

HSE University’s Online Campus is accepting applications for ‘Master of Finance’, an online programme taught in English at the HSE Banking Institute. The design of the online programme meets the needs not only of current students, but also of working professionals who want to expand their knowledge of financial strategies and learn how to increase their investments and diversify risks.
