HSE University has placed 66th in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2022, which assess universities younger than 50 years old. The THE Young University Ranking is the first in a series of global rankings to be published in 2022.
HSE University Participates in Satellite Navigation Monitoring Project
A team of HSE students is taking part in the development of a Russian satellite automatic identification system (AIS) to monitor sea navigation. The aim of the project is to track the locations of vessels and adjust their routes, including in the Arctic along the Northern Sea Route.
HSE Art & Design School Moscow to Offer Online Talk Series Jointly with Goldsmiths
In February and March, a specially commissioned series of open talks by professors from Goldsmiths, University of London, will be held online. Professor Anna Furse, Co-Director of the HSE PeARL Performance Research Lab, will be hosting the lectures. Students in the Transmedia Production in Digital Industries Master’s programme have done a project on the professions of the future. Covering trends and key professions, the project helps students assess potential academic trajectories. The main part of the project is a non-fiction book ‘What’s Next? Professions of the Future’, which is based on the ‘Androids and Electric Sheep’ podcast by Forbes and X5 Group. The book has been published on the Ridero platform.

Three HSE University Programmes in Management Receive European Accreditation
The bachelor's programmes of the HSE Graduate School of Business in Business Administration and Marketing and Market Analytics and the English-language Master's programme of HSE ISSEK ‘Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation’ have been accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Earlier, the Master’s in Finance offered by HSE University in St. Petersburg also received accreditation in the Economics category. Having four degree programmes recognized by EFMD is an unrivalled achievement for Russian universities.
