HSE Art and Design School Opens Experimental Music Library
The HSE Art and Design School has opened a unique audio library. Initiated by Evgeny Voronovsky, composer, independent sound producer and lecturer at the Art and Design School, the library holds rare samples of experimental sound art, noise music, and underground music. HSE News Service spoke with Evgeny about why visiting the audio library is a must for students and teachers of all fields of study.

Two International Students Receive HSE Silver Nestling Awards
At last week’s Golden HSE Award Ceremony, the winners of the Silver Nestling Award included two international students: Yunying Pei (China) of the Dual Bachelor’s Programme in Data Science and Business Analytics, and Juan Sota (Spain) of the Master’s Programme in Medieval Studies. Eight Teams Compete in HSE’s First Data Science Hackathon
HSE University has recently hosted an SAS Data Hack Platypus data analysis hackathon, where teams competed to solve a case problem provided by the online hypermarket, Utkonos (or, in English, ‘Platypus’).The top five finalists received devices from partner companies as gifts.
